FOX VS KINGDOM
A performance of satiric puppet theater based on the darkly funny escapades of Reynard the Fox. A mix of video, puppetry, live sound and moving objects. Premiering October 2016.
A sound piece steeped in French lore – from the songs of troubadours, to the inner thoughts of ghosts, to ancient theories on nautical navigation and whales. Wearing a personal radio and headphones, a listener walks to find voices embedded in the environment, transmitted to them from another time.
OVERLOOK / HOMEWARD
A solo performance masquerading as a lecture about Woodstock’s history as an art colony, with accompanying interactive exhibition.
An improvised dance duet set in a huge landscape with intimate sound-score heard via personal radios. Created for the historic site of Olana in Hudson, NY using the site and its archives as inspiration.
Solo dance performance with interactive video projection and 4-channel sound: a magical, medieval world infused with poetry and fables, populated by wolves, sirens and ghosts.
A dance theater piece featuring four performers, two musicians, dubious interpretations of Marxism and a lot of unsolicited advice.
